I give Reiki in a non-traditional format.  My Attunements did not come from the "traditional" line, nor did my training.  Rather than lying down, you will sit in my Healing Chair (a comfy old chair rescued from a junk store) and receive Reiki there.  The traditional Reiki positions are used only as guides; the energy directs the movement.  Reiki has been known to decrease stress, improve the immune system, heal the body, mind, spirit...the benefits are endless.  If you're unfamiliar with Reiki, check out What is Reiki?, Reiki benefits and Reiki Training Info.  ReikiOne is a new site with some good information.  

Make sure you read and understand the Reiki Consent Form.  

Reiki cannot be given while watching a stopwatch.  The time frame is understood before the session begins, and the energy flows accordingly.  While the Healing Chair is comfortable, sitting still for an hour can become tiresome.  My Reiki sessions last from 20-30 minutes, and are $30 each.  This works well for clients on a time crunch and a budget.
