What is your priority for today? Have you written your
“to-do” list yet? What does it involve? Grocery
shopping, cleaning, office work, auto repair, bill paying and letter
writing are often items that sneak on our lists. These are
important tasks to accomplish, but should they really be our highest
priorities of the day? I don’t feel comfortable making
anything stressful the forefront of my day. Let’s pause to
reexamine what our Real Priority should be each day: To be the
best expression and channel of Divine Love we can be. Did you
grocery shop with lovingkindness and consideration? Were you
polite to your cashier and did you give him or her a smile, warm with
Divine Love? Did you give thanks for the blessings of enough
prosperity to pay your bills, as you paid them, and thanks for the
assurance of money to come? As we work in the Touch of God in our
daily lives, we find our priorities shifting, but even more becoming
accomplished. We see the world bit by bit with new eyes, a
renewed purpose and mind. As you go about your tasks this week,
remember your priority is not to accomplish work, but to be an
expression of Love, and as a result, finish off your
“to-do” list.
